there is part of me that believe that nasa discovered aliens but dont tell or if they will find aliens they wont tell because "the world not ready for that or whatever"
there was some nasa scientist that talked in t.v in some show that nasa found evidents for organic process in mars soil.
some molecules that can only be formed in biological process or some chimestry we dont know that happening there.
but somehow nasa left it and didnt try to search more of it

| Some years ago I asked a professor involved in similar research if he thought there was any good reason for an agency to withhold the discovery -- evidence beyond reasonable doubt -- of alien life. He laughed and said it would be ridiculous. "To be involved in making a discovery that big, the news of which would make front page headlines around the world almost instantly, and we'd just withhold it from everyone?"
They want almost nothing more than to discover that and tell people about it. And it can happen literally any time. We have the technology to detect other planets and evidence of life on them.
I'm not sure what discovery on Mars you're thinking of, but I would guess it is related to the earlier Viking lander with its sampling and chemical experiments, one of which did return results which could be interpreted as evidence of chemical processes due to biology. But the experiment was not sophisticated enough to make the conclusion unambiguous, and the other experiments run with it did show unambiguously that there were not organic compounds present. So whatever reaction was going on was chemical, not biological.
Of course, we have much better experiments on Mars nowadays, like SAM on Curiosity, which has found organic molecules, but not evidence of biology.

| Watsisname, you have to admit though it is rather strange that there are quite a few military and government people who have come out over the years about a coverup and the numerous people who have talked about a coverup ending up dead.

yes it was that. but the problem is that they just stopped to search that area they were digging into.
and for my opinion nasa wont just declare aliens when they found it. it will be in cover up for years maybe.

| Wow, the idea would be completely crazy to me. The only plausible reason I could see them delaying that long is if they needed that time to be confident it was the real thing, and even then I think if they needed that much time to study it more than they still would have said something about it -- what they found and why it's inconclusive and what they need to study more.
I think I think that way because I've spent a lot of time with people do work in those fields and I have some knowledge of what they do and how they think. They dedicate their lives to studying these things because it fascinates them, and they want to share what they discover.
