| Quote (Solaris) Here you have another timelapse from a comment on Emily Lakdawalla's post, it looks like the guy took all frames from all wavelengths to make this

| [New photos of Saturn's Hexagonal Storm]
Coolest. Thing. EVER!
Y'all might find this interesting, too -- laboratory experiments showing how stable polygonal patterns in rotating fluid systems like that are formed. Pretty neat demonstration.

| I think this should be implemented in SE if it isn't already. Looking at the link Watsisname posted, I'm thinking it would be quite possible to find other weird polygonal formations on other Gas Giants.

| Quote (HarbingerDawn) I ♥ space exploration It's just great, one of the rare thing that make me love our epoch. Quote (Watsisname) laboratory experiments showing how stable polygonal patterns in rotating fluid systems like that are formed. Pretty neat demonstration. Very cool. The last video actually show more a square than a hexagon, but it's still very nice This stuff is fascinating, I wish they send a spacecraft with very high resolution cameras to all gaz giants..
Before incoming news images of cassini (Next Encounter with Titan in less than 6 hours ), Other (and older) view of Saturn, from BostonBigPicture (It's a news website which have some great series of images, but very rarely on space) Prometheus Mimas's shadow and ring structure Mimas through F ring Prometheus disrupt the F ring Serene background in this view of Enceladus Rhea passes in front of Titan
A nice video about Mini-Jets and the ever changing F ring :

| Here's another great animation showing the rotation of the cyclone at Saturn's north pole (adjusted to compensate for Cassini's oblique perspective)

| Anyone know if the Cassini imaging team plans to take a more rapid sequence of shots for a better time-lapse of the vortex in action? I just can't get enough of it, plus I'm sure there's some great science to be learned.

| Aurorae on Saturn, October 2009, false color. The true color of Saturn's aurorae are not yet known. The aurorae can reach 1200 kilometers in height, making them the tallest aurorae in the Solar system.

| Quote (SpaceEngineer) It is ultraviolet. Some small amount of visible light too, but I guess it is very small. The above images were captured in visible light, and so the aurora definitely has some color in visible light, so the question is valid. Also, I think that Earth's aurorae are brighter in UV than in optical light as well, unless I'm mistaken.
