| I "remastered" one of my favorite images from the Apollo program. I particularly like this one because it is one of the rare images that shows what Earth looks like through a medium-wide angle lens, which is what we use most often to photograph things in everyday life. This gives a much more intuitive perspective on just how far away Earth really is.

The original resolution is 2x this (I cropped these for display on the forum) but the detail at full resolution is no higher than it is here, which is why I lowered the resolution. If you want to look them up they are on film roll 151 from Apollo 17.

On February 1, 2003, the seven crewmembers were lost with the Space Shuttle Columbia over North Texas. This picture was on a roll of unprocessed film later recovered by searchers from the debris."
