| Ignuus66, this has been suggested many times before, and as SpaceEngineer has said before:
Quote (SpaceEngineer) I should note: as long as SE is a scientifically accurate Universe simulator, then one day it will implement ALL space objects and phenomenon that are known to modern astronomy. So you may not bother yourself with questions like "will SE one day have meteor rain implemented". I guarantee that it WILL.

| Hi all.
First of all, I can tell you that this is a stunning program, this and universe sandbox are going to be stunning to use in making some educational videos on Youtube. I also use Celestia and that is great too.
However, I took a trip to my favourite moon today, and noticed that something was missing. I went to Enceladus around Jupiter, and was dismayed to see that there was no Ice Geysers. Im hoping that someone can tell me that there is a mod that adds them into the program or if its even possible. I think that those Geysers are one of the most stunning features in our whole solar system.
Anyway, great program...peace to you all and happy trekking.

| My bad, didn't notice there were more pages on the search, now I feel foolish. Lesson learned
Hmm, What about a option/ button which switches your view to the infrared/ ultraviolet (as if you were viewing an image from the view of the corresponding telescope type)

| Hello DeamonStorm, welcome to the forum. Please take a moment to read the forum rules.
Geysers are not implemented in SE yet, but they will be, see the TODO list. Hello, thanks. I was just wondering. Nevermind, I found them. I was zoomed in too far.

| Quote (Ignuus66) What about a option/ button which switches your view to the infrared/ ultraviolet (as if you were viewing an image from the view of the corresponding telescope type) This has been suggested many times as well, and again SpaceEngineer's statement applies. Given an unlimited amount of time, literally everything known to science will be implemented in SE. Of course, some things will be added sooner than others, so they have to be prioritized, and I suspect that multi-spectral view modes of that sort will be pretty far down on the priority list since there are many more important and fundamental features that have not been added yet.

| Quote (DeamonStorm) I went to Enceladus around Jupiter An irrelevant distinction, but Enceladus is a moon of Saturn.
Also, I have moved this to the To-Do list thread.

I was thinking about this statement (which gives chills in my spine nonetheless) and a frightening thought came to my mind: What if some very new/innovative features (such as lifecycle of planets/plate tectonics, stars(i.e transition to supernovas, neutronstars, formation of black holes), galaxy collisions, simulation of Big Bang, Parallel Universes, etc) cannot be supported by the current graphics client and/or programming language that Space Engineer is using to develop SE. Innevitably there will be a time where new graphics clients and/or programming languages/APIs/tools will be developed that will enable these more advanced features to be implemented. This may require the entire code to be rewritten. Of course I am sure that Space Engineer has already thought about this. But the thought that the entire Engine code may need to be rewritten/reprogrammed makes me

| Well not only that, but it is a matter of practical impossibility that SE will ever be able to truly include everything known to humanity. It simply can't be done. But the point is that that is the goal, and so anything that exists in nature is on the to-do list. As I wrote earlier though, ultimately some things must come before others, and some things will never get done. But certainly enough will get done to make this the world's standard by which universe simulators are judged!

| Procedural generated galaxies already exist in the current version 0.96.2.. Unless You mean procedural galaxy models the yes i can't wait for them either. Although i don't think they're planned to be put in for a bit.

| A more realistic, physics-based planetary system generator is high on my wishlist, along with protoplanetary disks, lava, carbon and overall more varied worlds.
Careful. The PLATT Collective has spurs.

| I think the highest ones in the lists are the ones that will be done last though, because the already done features are at the bottom. So, it's gonna be a while until we have randomly generated galaxy/nebula models...

| SpaceEngineer have already started the work in procedural galaxy models, but it won't be in 0.97.
Quote (PlanetExplorer12) I think the highest ones in the lists are the ones that will be done last though, because the already done features are at the bottom. So, it's gonna be a while until we have randomly generated galaxy/nebula models... I don't think. Features are put on the bottom when they're done, but the order of features is random. Quote (ToDoList) Server database (work in progress) Network system Spaceship builder with physical testing of construction Cockpit devices: orbital transfer calculator, hyperflight calculator, programmable autopilot, etc. Docking system, remote control of units Economics, harvesting of resources, refueling, building, etc Weapons, combat system Giant alien astroengineering constructions Destruction of spaceships and buildings (modelling of thousands of fragments on the GPU), animation of explosions (gas dynamics simulation on GPU(?)) Advanced physics: jet propulsion, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics Procedural life (?) Procedural civilizations (?) [done partially] Local database [done partially] Loading of models (spaceships, buildings, etc.) [done partially] Internal structure of ships and buildings (indoor-engine) [done partially] Physics: collision detection, newtonian mechanics [done partially] Space physics: gravity forces, orbital flight, hyperdriv Do you think procedural civilisation could be done before procedural life ? It seems the features are classed by apparent difficulty to implement.
