Yesterday, I have finally found out how to import spacecraft from elsewhere, including Celestia and put them in Space Engine. So I started a thread where you could download my spacecraft. Please note that i'm still somewhat inexperienced and new at this, so please don't mind minor clipping issues and bad texture mapping; I'm only trying. This page will be updated occasionally with new releases.
Ship requests are closed for the time being as I am inactive on the forum What spaceship should I do next? You decide!
In this thread, you may ask for me to make spacecraft in Space Engine 0.97.1. I will also release any interesting space ships I port here, or old spacecraft for new version and ships from programs and games like Orbiter, Celestia, EvE online etc
Also remember to post any issues (downloading, models, textures, missing/broken files etc.) here.
So in case it wasn't evident, this one was an April Fools' Day Joke, although few seem to have noticed. The model in question is actually this terrifying minion 3d model.
RockoRocks' special mystery spaceship!
Hello everybody!! I guess i'm back on the forum now, and I may be posting new spaceships again soon, reviving this thread! In order to celebrate that, I wanted to share an extra special spaceship with you all that i've been working very hard on. But to keep it fun, I also wanted it to be a little surprise, so what are you waiting for, go check out this gorgeous new ship!
You can find this ship under pack RockoRocks misc. and faction Special. Use in 0.974 is recommended
Contains Cassini, Deep Space 1, Galileo, Juno, Kepler, LRO, Magellan, MRO, Rosetta, Stardust, and Voyager
No size changes, simply a direct port of NASA's free 3D resource models with mesh and texture adjustments Originally ported by HarbingerDawn and DoctorOfSpace
Specifications, model tweaks, and texture improvements provided by HarbingerDawn
Cassini/Deep Space 1/Galileo/Kepler/LRO/Magellan/MRO/Stardust/Voyager: Brian Kumanchik & Christian Lopez Visualization Technology Applications and Development Group NASA / JPL-Caltech
Juno/Rosetta: Eyes on the Solar System NASA / JPL-Caltech
Updated for 0.9.7.1 / 0.9.7.2 by RockoRocks Re-released with permission of DoctorOfSpace
This is the Stardrifter vessel from the space exploration game Noctis. This ship and its models/textures are, unlike most others here, not ported from anywhere but made entirely by myself.
It includes one "cockpit" view and 2 "behind" views (one of which is located in the upper dome).
The ship is based on screenshots and videos of the game. It was made in Blender, the mesh is very basic but the textures add a lot to how the ship looks. Yes, I know those look more like square holes than windows but this is due to a technical limitation in SpaceEngine: you currently cannot use semi-transparent textures (like glass), only either fully transparant or opaque. The 'screens' are obviously textures for decorative purpose and do not change like in the actual game. (ship suggested by Joey_Penguin)
Kerbal
The Kerbal from Kerbal Space Program. Size has been increased to 2 meter otherwise it would not be visible.
This ship pack contains even more Imperial Star Wars ships. Before downloading this, I really recommend you download HarbingerDawn's Imperial Ship Pack, from his ship release thread: HarbingerDawn's Ship Releases
For more information, a full ship list and ship credits, check the readme.txt file in the zip file:
The model and textures are created by OrbitHangar user moach. http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5456
XR5-Vanguard
The XR-5 Vanguard is a high-performance Spacecraft created for Orbiter by the Altea Aerospace team. I tried doing this a while ago but it failed, most textures were placed inaccurately or incorrectly. However, I tried it again and now it's much better (yet not perfect).
TIP: you can download many, many skins for this spacecraft on the OrbitHanagar. The screenshot above demonstrates the ESA xr5 skin (not included in download). It can be downloaded from: XR5 ESA - Final on OrbitHangar. To install downloaded skins, make a (backup) copy of XR5T.jpg, and replace XR5T.jpg with the desired skin texture. Same goes for other textures the XR5 uses.
The XR5's mesh was designed by Russel Hicks, texturing work done by PennyBlack, and payloads designed by Carmen A & Tom Fisher.
TX (Tug eXperimental)
TX (or Tug, Experimental) is the Kulch SRC's experimental winged hypersonic booster. The first of a series of Winged Boosters set to be developed by Kulch, the TX is designed to carry payloads up to 50 tons to low Earth orbit.
Model, textures and original Orbiter add-on created by kulch from OrbitHangar.
Space Junk Galaxy rocket
This rocket (which I named Sovereign Rocket in-game) is a small, toylike rocket found in the game Super Mario Galaxy. It is found in the Space Junk Galaxy. I always liked its cartoony design very much so I couldn't resist ripping it from the game and porting it to SpaceEngine. It flies nicely with the UFO cheat.
Model (and original textures, which aren't used here) created by OrbitHangar user thorton. http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2536 Photorealistic Mir textures made by OrbitHangar user 4th rock. http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3870
Model from http://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/halocombatevolved/model/88/ ripped by Shadowth117 The textures are based on the original textures, but enlargened and tweaked by me for extra details. The emission and specular maps were also made by me.
1903 Wright Flyer The Wright Flyer was the first successful powered aircraft, designed and built by the Wright brothers. Request by Psauce.
Model ripped from SSBB by Peardian from models-resource.com. Original model by Nintendo.
Klingon Bird-of-Prey The Klingon Bird-of-Prey was a type of warship utilized by the Klingon Empire serving the Klingon Defense Forces. Request by Sérvio.
Model created by scottpkenee from BridgeCommander filefront. http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/22nd_Century_Bird_Of_Prey;27689
Arrow Freighter The Arrow Freighter class vessel was created for deep solar system exploration and exploitation. Its goal is mainly to make long range cruise and land on small moon without or with tiny atmosphere.
TIP: A few of the default skins are included in the addon (NASA, ESA, Pirate and BlackStar). They can be found in the skins folder. To enable them, make a copy of the default MainHullFront.jpg and MainhullRear.jpg files and change the filenames of the desired skin to MainHullFront.jpg and MainhullRear.jpg.
More skins can be downloaded from the OrbitHangar. You can create your own skins for this spacecraft with this SDK: ArrowFreighter25SkinDK.zip

Mesh and textures by Dan Steph. Optional skins by various authors.
Interplanetary Carrier Vessel The Interplanetary Carrier Vessel (ICV) is a long range, high endurance spacecraft designed for travel from Earth and Mars to Jupiter and the Outer Planets.
This is a fictional spacecraft created by Rob Sanders It was downloaded from his Celestia addon http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/show_addon_details.php?addon_id=744
This addon also includes an alternative ESA paint scheme (also by Rob Sanders). If you want to use it, edit NASAshuttle2010.sml and uncomment/comment the appropriate textures.
Tip: you can download many different skins for this spaceship from the OrbitHangar. To install them, replace the files /textures/spacecrafts/addons/Orbiter/dgmk4_1.jpg and dgmk4_2.jpg with the downloaded textures. Remember to make a backup copy of the original textures in case you want them back later.
Model credits:
Code
Model created by Martin Schweiger, the creator of Orbiter.
Kirby's Return to Dreamland model (originally made by nintendo and HAL labs) Model ripped by MightyJetters from models-resource.com Some small edits by me and some emission maps
Model and texture originally obtained from eve-stls on github, which are ships ported directly from the game. Credits go to github user Drewzar and the EvE online devteam Also added an emission map
Model and texture originally obtained from EVE Online Ship Pack MOD by dontpanic, model modified from 0.96 to 0.97 And ported from 0.97 to 0.97.1 Also added an emission map + specular reflections fixed
I didn't really know where I should post this, so I posted it here: I really would like someone to create a ISS for Space Engine. I have had several attempts at it, and, they all failed. I don't know everything about porting to SE from 3D models and I'd really really like to see the ISS in Space Engine. So please, someone make an ISS, I would be extremely grateful for that.
I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

I also have a lot more spacecraft that I've been working on, including a very nice ISS and an updated version of this Hubble, so with the next version will come a deluge of goodies.
Right here, you even responded in that thread in the very next post.
All forum users, please read this! My SE mods and addons Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2 GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 970 3584 MB VRAM
I can't get any of the models to show up. I've checked that everything is where it should be several times. Maybe I did something that I've forgotten that I did, that's causing them not to appear. Anybody else have these issues? I know that the Executor model causes my SE to crash. Actually, I've always had issues with Star Destroyer models causing it to crash (user error, etc, ha).
[EDIT] Also, the model files for both the Lambada shuttle and the Starbase both contain "Tyderium.cfg/sm".
I can't wait to try the Covenant ship, thanks! That's awesome. I'm on my cellphone right now, though. But question, are you using 0.96 or 0.97? I tried aclean install of 0.97 and the ships still aren't showing up. :/ I have others that work fine, even some new ones I just downloaded. I really want to see yours though. xD
[EDIT] Wow, sorry, of course you use 0.97. I apologize. Anyway, I can't get the models to show up. -_- I've absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong. I would also like to make a request, though. However, I'm not sure it's possible, yet, unless you model it by hand: ships from Ender's Game.

I've been trying to convert the high-res ISS from NASA's site via Lightwave, but the OBJ export on the version of LW I've been using seems busted. Maybe you'd have better luck.
Added (04.03.2014, 18:13) --------------------------------------------- 3 new spacecraft: Lor Starcutter, Rebel Interplanetary Transport and the Orbiter Delta-Glider
