There's a Venator destroyer in Imperial colors in my Imperial ship pack.

This is so awesome, I've been wanting to have the Halo ring in SE forever.
e: I'm a complete idiot of course you can't have an atmosphere, because it's a spacecraft model &*facepalm*

I'm guessing there's no way but the halo crashes the program if I try to use the high textures mod. Seems odd as they're still very small textures really! Any way anyone knows to get around this?

The HD textures aren't really small, the inner ring ones are about 7681 x 481 and it uses a specular and emission map of that size. I'm not sure if there's a way to get around this, could you please post your se.log file to perhaps see what causes the crash specifically?

I would love to see some Star Citizen ships like the mustangs, the "315p", "THE 890 JUMP" and "THE VANDUUL SCYTHE", there are so many good ships!

Love the probe collection, have you thought about including MAVEN and Mars Express?

RockoRock. I don't know if your new ship request ideas are still a go, but here's one for you to consider. Why not the EVENT HORIZON. I know somebody created it for Celestia, this would be a cool one for SE. Just maybe it could be made even to fold space in SE if possible?. cool

May I request an FTL/HyperDrive Boeing 747-400, please? smile

I have a model from Celestia that someone made for me, after I made a similar request, although it's not the best. smile

Greetings! My apologies for the inactivity, I will now adress some of the many requests I seem to have missed

Spzi, I may look into Star Citizen ships, though I'm really unsure if it's possible since I do not own that game

robolith, sure! Those probes won't be too hard to add.

Kosh, that ship can be made too, and it looks pretty cool.

Joey_Penguin, I don't really know what ship in particular you are referring to. Would you mind specifying...? Is there a 3D model available of this ship?

PlutonianEmpire, of course. If you think the model is worth importing, please send it to me so I can take a look at it!

RockoRocks,

Please, could you add the textures for the Noctis Stardrifter? They are missing.

Don't forget to look here.

Sorry to be the ignorant asking, but I don't really know how to use these ships in SE. (Technically how to install it, use it)

For the installation, some .zip files have a "readme.txt" file with the necessary information. But usually you only need to unzip the content of the file, subdirectories included, in the SpaceEngine base directory.
As how to use it, you'll find new ships and others as well pressing the "ship" button on the center-left toolbar of the Planetarium user interface.
The FAQ page says that in the "readme_eng.txt" located in SpaceEngine\docs\ folder you can read how to control space ships.

there is also a forum thread: How to control ships

Could you port the pegasus-ares lander from Orbithangar?

http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6596

I'd love to use it with a proper dock system
