Hello, I've been playing Elite: Dangerous and have been recommended this - have to say WOW. This is like my dream game, my inner child has been waiting for this game since it formed its first thought. And pure and utter admiration for the creator, you must be a savant or something? Either way, I don't think I've ever come across anyone as genius and resourceful as you.

I am an Oculus Rift user and I am overjoyed that this game works perfectly with the rift. I plan on making a thread with some tweaks and visual improvements to rift use, as soon as I am able to (anyone know what I need to do to gain those rights?)

Anyway, that's me. Check out my youtube channel, it's taking off smile http://youtube.com/c/drkaii

Hi. I've been playing Space Engine more and more as I grow an interest in astronomy. The stars are fascinating and breathtaking to behold. I got interested in space due to No Man's Sky, and I play this simulator to scratch that itch to explore the galaxy and see new planets.

Hello everyone, I've always been interested in space and I always wanted to find a program out there that would let me explore the stars. This engine is incredible and does a great job of showing me around, I've been using it for a while now. I've already seen some incredible sights. What's more amazing is that it's being developed by one person, and I can't wait to see what else is out there.

Hello, and thank you for bringing the universe to my living room. This is a wonderful program, next best thing to the spaceship I always dreamed of having when I was a kid. Maybe better considering all the pesky drawbacks of time dilation...
Made my donation, hope you can continue the development.

Best, Helmut

Hello everyone, I love Space Engine, as I'm of an aerospace family and this game has let me live my childhood dream ever since seeing saturn's rings and andromeda through a telescope. Much thanks to all who have contributed to the game on my desktop. Breath taken every time it loads. Simply amazing

Hello greetings from Indonesia everyone and especially to Space Engine Developer/s, thank you for such a great piece of software. It's really a breathtaking moment when I see the moon, Saturn, milky way, or some random exoplanet rendered in such high detail in my monitor.

The universe is so big, and I hope that one day we will not need a console or a computer or SpaceEngine to see all that. I wish that we will visit those place and see for ourselves the wonder of the universe.

But for the time being, I'm really happy with Space Engine. biggrin

@Space Engineer: I can only say... thank you. This... is something I have been looking for my entire life since the early 80's when I watched Carl Sagan series COSMOS. I bet the good proffesor would be more than proud of what you have done and, were he alive, he would have probably helped your program getting gubernamental funding to make it a worlwide education MUST in every school, college, university, and the like. The program you have made is already near-perfect as it is, so I can't wait to see what else you come up with, for everything you have suggested as possible goals is amazing. All I can say, for real, sir... is thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Carry on the good work.

Hello,

New on the forum but long time user of space engine!
This is probably my most favorite software. I find it both entertaining and helping in creativity.

I wanted to let know to the creator that you did an amazing job! I also admire your passion of keeping the software up to date.
I see less and less crash with each version coming up.

I'll try to make a couple videos in the future using this software and share my space journey with you.

Cya!

Hello. I've been using SE for about a year. It's amazing.

I signed up here because I have a question. I can't find an answer with search. I can't post new threads because I'm new. My posts in the chat don't seem to be appearing.

There are many other threads, I'm sure your question could fit somewhere.
If it's related to a software issue, "troubleshooting and solutions" could be a start.

Regarding the chat, have you tried using a different browser? Or erasing the temp files?
