I'm (sometimes) here. But I'm really busy and my computer is very buggy now (SE can't work properly, I'm now unable to create new systems for my RPG cry ). I can't even listen to a song, the sound is laggy/jagged.

That doesn't explain a sudden drop in activity from one day to the next. This is specifically in the last 3 days that it's been this quiet. People have been "waiting" for 0.9.7.1 for 2 months.

Maybe most people check the forum to see devlopment news. And there wasn't any this week.

I'm not sure what happened either, a few months ago there were constantly new threads, but now there are a few posts every now and then.

That's fixable. Here's what you do: Go to the totally off-topic forum. Then make suggestions like that climate reconstructions suffer from smoothing that make prior climate appear more stable than what can be concluded, or that land surface data somewhat poorly support the IPCC climate models, such as too rapid warming observed in the arctic and too little elsewhere and in the world in general. Or that increased CO2 greens the planet, in particular in arid and high latitude areas.

Don't worry. The drop in activity is just natural variations. wink

This is exactly something that I don't reply too.

I tend to reply to the less intelligent threads/posts.

If forum history is any indicator, then scientific debates indeed dramatically increase the posting rate, but only among a small number of users while everyone else flees. tongue

I wouldn't mind having more science news being posted around here. I mean we have a number of threads already for specific developments, especially for astronomy and exploration, but something a little more general might be nice, too.
