| This has nothing to do with pictures but. Do you think that space enginer could make you choose the look of stars? Because i did like the stars in 0.94 so if you could choose betwen todays and 0.74 would be cool.

| Quote (Salvo) I need a pair of 3d glasses You can make some if you have some plastic wrap and permanent markers.
Edit:
I think this came out nicely

I made a few custom sprites by splicing random images from the net, nebula, and current galaxy sprites until I got something I liked.

| Yes. It's a mixture of ''2001'' Discovery plus Icarus from ''Sunshine'' plus default SE ships! Nice shots BTW! How do you achieve this effect with the galaxy dust clouds?

| Quote (neutronium76) How do you achieve this effect with the galaxy dust clouds? Messing with the sprites_gal file and spending way too much time messing with the models.cfg in SpaceEngine 0.96\data\models\galaxies
You have to edit all the absParticle stuff for the specific galaxy model you want to change. In my screens I am using the Milky Way that Solaris posted as my Milky Way with a blended particle setup with the default and galaxy sprites added in this

You mean this model: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/17-813-7556-16-1342730579 ? The last time I included this add-on it shifted the catalog galaxy numbering by a few numbers (had to add those manually to data\catalog\galaxies\galaxy10k.sc) and milky way (our milky way) became 8407-blabla from 8403 and then I added some more solaris stuff and it went back to 8403 and I lost all my location saves because it seved them as 8407-blabla. I am not touching this again.. I may play with sprites_gal and models.cfg though if I have some time.

I only really did it for the Milky Way and only slightly tweaked Andromeda. Didn't do it for any other galaxies so I have no idea what effects it might have on others.
Here is the Milky Way at 100°FOV
