| i got my own planet to show off :P
so, while i was making a fly-by of a gas giant with a cool teera with life orbiting it, i had noticed while approaching the moons that one of the moons, a cool desert, hda a strange atmosphere color....
once i completed the fly-by i returned to that moon and took a closer look at it:
this is the overall look of the moon and the gas giant (including the stars):
i was then curious to see the atmosphere's color, so i tried an experiment. The star has a blue spectral class, so i tried to position the camera behind the planet so that the star would cross the atmosphere. this is what i got:
i then tried to land on it, and the view was staggering (for me, tho)..... pink clouds!

| That is really awesome looking. Sometimes space programs and shows make me sad Earth doesn't have rings.

| All I'm seeing there is darkness...... Wierd.
Edit: Oh lol, somehow got sent several gigaparsecs away.
Edit2: *facepalm* Turning procedural galaxies on.
Edit3: How far up from the planetary surface should I be? Still seeing blackness.
Edit4: Maybe its because I'm of a later generation than the disco generation, but I fail to see what's psychadelic about long periods of darkness and brief periods of sunlight. It is certainly a nice effect though.

I copied the whole thing from the bracket to the end of the p in Place and I have 0.9.6.2 I think the time setting is 2 months too early.
Edit: It starts getting psychadelic around July. Also, maybe I was supposed to go backwards, not forwards or I somehow landed in the wrong place? OR, was I supposed to turn 3D water off?

I copied the whole thing as well and opened the F6 menu and hit paste, then hit Go to, and as soon as the terrain loaded I accelerated time to 1000x and it was exactly as advertised. Funkadelicious*

| I don't know why, but it actually sent me to an oceania. I put the stellar remnant numbers back to what they were just in case it somehow had an effect.
Edit: Strange, that apparently DID have an effect. O.o Thought it wouldn't.
Edit2: It's not QUITE the same as the one in the screenshot that HarbingerDawn showed me, its slightly different and doesn't have life. Maybe I'll do a clean reinstall.....
