Finally, made my first cinematic video with SE, the idea was killing me for months, specially after I joined the steam beta.

so here my first space engine video ^_^
worked hard on it. the editing is sucks and it has potato qulity, even i laugh from that video biggrin so feel free . but i think its good result for someone who didnt know how to edit and make videos 2 days ago.
any tips of how to record better, compressing softwares, tips for better qulity etc will be welcomed. :)
and i hope soon i will be better at that. and make better videos.
also as you can see i had some problem with compressing. the last scene of the black hole got stuck, dont know why but it always happend after i compressed the video
meanwhile that what i got for my first try:

spacer, that's awesome! Really good for your first work. I thought the quality and scenes were great and work with the music. (Yeah, Cosmos!) smile

The only thing I would critique is the movements -- transitions from stationary to moving are a bit jarring. I would either stay stationary or start recording while moving at constant speed. Or if you can change velocity very gradually in space-craft mode, that could be effective.

Looking forward to more!

Watsisname, yeah that was the big problem. i had problem with f9 record bottom, the game freeze and i needed to press the game window to start moving, next time i will do better editing and cutting that it will be always be moving. and also need to get better in audio editing. will also try different record method to film in better qulity and with DOC reshade.

thanks smile

I think your post has been overlooked...

Both of those are a couple of the best made and professional looking videos for something like this I have seen in a very very long time. The music choice is wonderful, the timing is nailed, but the camera work is the real jewel of these. Great use of panning, spinning, angles, body motion and trajectory.

Can we get more feedback from you guys on these?
