spacer, are those photos real? surprised

I mean, this is not pareidolia, this looks clearly a regular-shape object. It's not perfectly squared anyway, but still interesting.

Those photos are real. It is a regular shape object and needs to be investigated further.

How do you know?

Not sure about the last (gray) set of images, but the object is definitely a real thing. Probably just a boulder though -- a large chunk of ejecta that settled back on the surface and casts a shadow. There's several them on Phobos.

Investigated a bit, trying to find the original photos, because you know, without references...
There is a so-called Phobos monolith, (see wikipedia page) the one linked by Watsisname, not the one indicated in the first 3 images.
In another image , PIA10368, this boulder it's better illuminated.
Other images are referring to a Mars boulder located seemingly somewhere in http://hirise.lpl.arizona.edu/PSP_009342_1725 , no time right now to seek.

Mars, the face and now this, on one of your moons? Why do you always have to trick us...

Living among the stars, I find my way. I grow in strength through knowledge of the space I occupy, until I become the ruler of my own interstellar empire of sorts. Though The world was made for the day, I was made for the night, and thus, the universe itself is within my destiny.

I honestly can't tell if this is satire or if they genuinely think people will believe this.

The Saturn system isn't even astronomically correct!

Hornblower, it's very well made anyway, I like it! (not astronomically accurate but very nice looking)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is satire.

Salvo, Agreed, it does look amazing. However, the reflection of the ISS and Earth on the cosmonaut's helmet really breaks the immersion.

No it is not reflection: It is holographic communications interface on the astronaut's helmet to make them feel less homesick cool

Watsisname,
Quote
want to share what they discover

i will continue here.
yeah are very right, but the question is:
does the governments want to share these discoveries?
if we want or not, the power is in the hand of the governments

I really don't think the government would or could force scientists to withhold that discovery. smile There are too many scientists in too many research groups across too many nations for any government to plausibly keep it under wraps, and the idea that they would try to do so for fear that humanity isn't ready for it just isn't convincing to me. I think we are quite ready for it. And I think we would not be spending billions of dollars of taxpayer money to seek answers to these deep questions of astrobiology and of our place in the cosmos just to hide it from everyone.

Of course, remember also what Doctor of Space said:

Quote DoctorOfSpace ()
It's never aliens, but remember when they say it isn't aliens that it most definitely is aliens.

which means I am definitely just a government agent trying to persuade you that we're alone in the universe and Earth is definitely not about to be destroyed by the Vogons.
