| I think we're getting a little too hung up on this whole mass loss thing. Sure, the Sun would get a little lighter, but it's the Sun. It's got a lot of mass to go around. Orbits will get wider, and maybe some objects will start to orbit Jupiter instead, but for the most part it'll be fine. As for things that end up in elliptic orbits: we've got plenty of them already, and they're rarely a problem. If something does threaten to impact the Earth or the Sun, I'd fire Moon rocks at it to destroy it.

only moon rocks?! we should fire whole saturn so it will suck the threat inside it,
then launch a spacecraft with nuclear force engine with tiny black hole in it so it will take saturn to its normal orbit again

space is full of water! and with all of the sun hydrogen that left from our terraforming prosses we have lot of resurcess to make more oxygen and water

| The Sun contains 0.77% oxygen. That may not sound like much oxygen, but it's over 200 Earth masses. As the Sun gets terraformed, part of that will react with the hydrogen and part of it will remain as oxygen. Enclosing the Sun is not neccessary due to its high gravity.

| This is crazy. Sure I can get turning jupiter into a star and terraforming the sun but launching Saturn at stuff is not a good idea. It will mess other orbits up.

| And where will we get all the stuff,skills,people, and robots to make that thing? What about the moons of Jupiter?I f you Jupiter be bright enough to be as bright as the sun as seen from Earth, sure those moons would fry, and would kill any potential life on them.

| My asparagus breakfast plan, cheap space elevator, improved schooling system, and lack of waste due to time zones and going to bed early will bring in a lot of money to use on these projects. Not to mention the fines for terrorrists!
