Why these two specifically? There are several other people who are also running for president. I also question how many people on this forum will especially care, since this relates to US politics, and most of the people here aren't from the US.

HarbingerDawn, Also you would be surprised how many foreigners care about us politics. Maybe it is because the united states affect things at the global scale I guess.

Don't forget his 'never compromise' style of politics and his ability to shut down government if he doesn't get his way.

I don't really know anything about Bernie, but I became a rabid Trump detractor after learning of his stance on autism and vaccinations, so between these two the choice is easy.

Trump is the perfect symbol for just about everything that I find utterly loathsome.

In the news over here Trump gets most attention, but it's all about what a clown he is, so it's impossible to make out what the politics actually are. Not that I care much, though.

Here in Italy we are entertained by our own clowns, and whatever you vote, and don't matter in which way you express your disdain, they keep sitting somewhere near the chair, as anywhere else, I guess.
Which is really funny, if it were a sitcom. Unfortunately it's real life.

If you elect Bernie to office, the US might actually have a chance of catching up to the rest of the civilized world on many fields. If you elect Trump or Cruz, there might not be a US to talk about in a few decades. Hillary will most likely just boast about being the first female president and won't actually change much.
