If you elect Trump or Cruz, there might not be a US to talk about in a few decades.

Actually the US will take over the world and lead humanity into a new era

Why these two specifically? There are several other people who are also running for president. I also question how many people on this forum will especially care, since this relates to US politics, and most of the people here aren't from the US.

Both are old angry eccentric anti-establishment white men from NY with strange haircuts, a strong accent, and a passionate voter base. The similarities are uncanny.

I'm in favor of Bernie over Drumpf. Still, I refuse to believe the Donald is as stupid or as ignorant as he seems. I'm afraid of giving him more credit than he deserves, but the way he's tapped into the fears and ignorance of a large proportion of the electorate is as impressive as it is frightening.

I have to say that I was a bit nervous when I saw a political title on the SpaceEngine forums, as political discussions in non-political environments often leads to bad things, but it all seems to be doing okay for now.

Anyway, in quite a few ways my views vary from Sanders' significantly, but overall I still favor him over the other candidates.

Tonight... you.

Even if you grudge is manifest, it's funny you mentioned "ugly" before "lier" tongue

he is going to make my country great again

Literally anyone can say that, it doesn't make them a worthwhile candidate.

How?

I support his plan for the mexico wall

Even though it will be outrageously expensive and totally ineffective?

I hate hillary because she is a democrat and looks very ugly and she is a lier and a coward.

She is a liar, but being ugly isn't a reason to not vote for someone, and I'm not sure you could call her a coward. Being a Democrat isn't a reason not to vote for her either. What if Trump ran as a Democrat but said all the same things? Would that make him automatically bad? Or what if Hillary ran as an independent? Would that make her ok? Voting along party lines is absurd. Vote for the person, not the party.

Also, I notice you don't mention Bernie Sanders at all, even though this thread is about him and Trump. Why mention Clinton but not Sanders?

She is a liar

If politicians are not elected simply because they are liars, who should then govern us?

People who aren't liars. Contrary to popular belief, such people do exist.

Sanders seems like an alright guy to me, not the worst or the best. Trump is an outspoken person who has strong views and an empowering way of doing things and thats why I vote for him, I like the way he acts and says stuff. If trump wasn't in the elections or he didn't exist, sanders would be my next vote, free healthcare.

All politicians are liars.

Not all of them, just most of them. There are a few of them who keep their promises.

I have government subsidized healthcare, and it literally saved my life. I'm sure other people on this forum, especially in more progressive countries, could say the same.

Contrary to popular belief, such people do exist.

Certainly there are people who do not lie; at least no serious meaningful lies.
But if these people are politicians, they do not rise enough in the hierarchy. These people will not be president or chancellor.
