I'll insert onto the homepage a dozen or more of the best pictures from the forum members. If the flow of pictures is ceaseless, then I will just update them periodically.

Image size 690 x 160 pixels.
Image format jpg.

Send your pictures to this forum smile

c2k5, Why are you compressing images in a vertical direction? You must resize image, then cut it to 688*158 pixel area.

How about some of these images? Is this the sort of thing you're after?

Good. Make screens not only of planets, but with galaxies, clusters, nebulae, stars in flight with motion blur, binary stars lighting each other, asteroids...

smile I'm glad you like them. I may try out a few other different things. I may do a few more eclipses and some more dark space shots with other triple and binary star systems.

edit: I have yet to find any densely populated asteroids fields, to have some close enough together and look good in a picture. Do you have any pointers where to look for these, SpaceEngineer?

update: I've finally found some nice whirlpool galaxies. I've got two galaxies close together. I will post them up soon.

Thanks for the kind remarks, Digit.

Okay, Here's the final lot. I think I'm done with this for now. (Or am I? smile )

BlackArk, you're doing it wrong. Make screenshots only of generated stuff, not manually edited. The pics you posted are impossible in reality. Find a nice picture, then make screenshot without HUD (~ disables the HUD), then crop it to 690 x 160, and post it here. Look at what Robbie has done.

Robbie, Nice again smile You can add your logo in the corner of images, like copyright smile

PS: I update the screenies on the site's main page, but it seems to need reloading (press F5 in your browser).
