Most of the pictures on the home page now look like they are from 0.94. I think they need to be updated cool

Yes... Can you or Solaris please choose 20-30 best pictures from this thread and from Russian one (but look on the date), and send me in an archive? This will save a lot of time for me.

Took this picture a while ago and thought it might be worthy.

Hello L1meRa1n, and welcome to the forum. Please take a moment to read the forum rules.

You simply vertically compressed the image and scaled it. This change in aspect ratio has given it an odd appearance. You should instead have cropped it so that the proper aspect ratio was maintained.

Thanks Harbringer. I did what you said and took what I think was the best portion of the image and cropped it out.

Martek, try saving your jpeg as a higher quality version, the compression artifacts (or something similar) are very noticeable. Also, make sure that your screenshots are of default assets (default textures, etc). And don't edit the screenshots before making the banner except for cropping it. I'm not sure if the brightness of the Milky Way there was due to having exposure up or due to editing, but it would probably be best if it were at the normal level.

The second image looks very nice though.

I should write a script that will pick up random images from this thread and put them to the slideshow on the main page. It's too hard to update it manually...

Thought I'd contribute some of my own shots smile A couple of them are zoomed in and rotated, but apart from that they're all 'raw'.

And one more just for fun, the Enterprise, model courtesy of DoctorOfSpace's brilliant Star Trek add-on.

Is this still going?

This is a desert planet in a cluster in the center of a galaxy, very near to the galaxy's black hole.
