Successor to a ship I made years ago

EDIT: It would have to dock with some large space station. A small area in the middle of the shields retracts and opens.

Another module suggestion: a single docked ship or, better yet, a zero-g docking bay (see the Space Station V in the movie 2OO1: A Space Odyssey).

Hurry up and hide yo physic laws, for I am going to rape them!

I am initially didn't make these ships for SE, but now I might be try to import them there, when they'll be done. They're quite space-opera'ish, as while I try to make them in regards to real life physics and requirements of realistic space flight, I constantly make some dumb-downs for an artistic license like with thrusters torque and fuel consumption and size of radiators. So, don't beat me too hard, I'm trying to maintain an equilibrium between "pretty" and "realistic")

This drone is about 9 meters long, and it's carrier is 450 meters long.





The story has not finished yet.
Truth is not revealed.
And it circulates through an incident.
--It is an infinity loop!

Football capsule, a.k.a. The "dish"



I like the idea of perfectly enclosed shells like this. The RCS engines would need to be integrated into the shell. There would also need to be flaps/doors to load and unload cargo and shuttles.

Really, just some improvements I made to an older design- added some necessary thrusters, added another ring module, changed some of the framework to make docking easier. Also, got rid of the gold shield.

Regarding all these tiny ships with forward facing shields, my goal has been to create the smallest possible realistic ship design I can, and to have complete starship functionality.

It means having a realistically positioned hyperdrive, a balance between fuel, cargo, and habitat modules, keeping space for shuttles to undock and maneuver, positioning radiators so they don't face the ship, keeping it symetrical around the main axis so it can rotate the habitat modules... all the things one would normally try to do, but as small as possible, and all behind a forward facing shield, which can be kept pointed towards the nearest stellar body while the ship is in orbit.

Integrating the hyperdrive and radiators into a single module (having a ring with radiators and a hyperdrive) would be helpful.
