Beautiful imagery in this amazing (free) program. I will definitely donate when I can. I will spend many, many hours in this remarkable programmed universe. Thanks so much for creating this.

Can anyone help please?
I've downloaded SE 0792 and there does not seem to be any surfaces on planets. They are basically see through and is evident when I speed up the planets rotation. I also have SE 0791 installed and that too is showing no surfaces. It worked fine up until I downloaded the new version.
All my drivers are fully up to date on my computer.
I have uninstalled and re-installed in case I was doing something wrong but to no avail.

My e mail is ro1mart1n@msn.com.

Thanks.

I have played around with the SE for a while, but my old laptop was far from the point that was licenced as "minimum requirement". However, the engine was really cool and I love it. Recently I have got a new machine (ASUS X550JK, Intel i7 Quad on 3.5 GHz, 8 Gb Ram, GF GTX 850m GPU, etc...). The SE is working like a charm. Thank you for sharing this great software. Also, I am interrested in capturing flight paths. Is there any possible documentation that I can use for it? I wish to capture video in very high quality. Thank you in advance.

I downloaded the SE 0.7.9.2 and found it crashed so much that I had to uninstall it. I've run SE 0.7.9.0 and 0.7.9.1 without any hitches. When I ran the new version, I did find that if I switched off some of the applications on the right hand drop down such as nebula, clusters etc and kept atmosphere, water (3d version switched off) and clouds, that it did run to a certain degree, but would then crash. I also uninstalled the other 2 versions I had on my computer in case they were competing with the new SE i downloaded but this new one still crashed. I've totally removed SE 0.7.9.2 and have reinstalled 0.7.9.1 which runs as good as ever.
Also, just to note, On 0.7.9.2, no planets or bodies outside our solar system had any surface...just flat as a pancake. I seriously think that there are quite a lot of fixing to be done on the new version. It's a shame, because I've been looking forward to it for some time.

I'll be proud to dedicate my entire VPS to seeding this project.
Definitely worth the bandwidth.

Just donated. What an amazing, incredible project. I have been flying around space for hours now, exploring worlds and discovering suns. Really fantastic work. Thanks for making this!

I found out about Space Engine yesterday and made my donation this morning. I have no words to describe how spectacular this project is. Seeing as most of us alive today will never get to visit outer space - this becomes our way to virtually experience the future 1000 years from now when humanity will traverse the universe. Thank you !

Is anyone else experiencing issues with textures? Every planet or asteroid I visit has no surface. Just flat. I've re-installed SE0971 with no luck. Cheers

I came in contact with this wonderful project more than a year ago, but avoided donating since I wanted something for my money. I still do, and have every intention of getting on board with IndiGoGo when you start that campaign, but I also felt it important to give to the development of 1.0 for no other reason than happiness to see progress.

May this live long and prosper, and boldly go where no man has gone before, to infinity and beyond.

There are only a few times in one's life when one knows that something truly extraordinary is being experienced; something uniquely visionary that will transform how people view (in the case of software) what is possible on a computer. Space Engine is such a phenomenon! Mind blowing possibilities, stepping stones for wonder and amazement; I actually shudder to think where this can evolve. Mr. Romanyuk, you have created a magical, timeless masterpiece! What a gift to the world!
