| In addition to SpaceEngineer's suggestion, may I also suggest maybe slowing the rate of rotation? 1g is not necessary for the entire journey, and spinning more than 4 times per minute is a bit disorienting. 0.5g should be fine for most of the journey, and if your destination had less gravity then you'd want to go even lower.

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) BTW, is it possible to make windows in that corridor? It is a best place to look outside: beds bocks passage to windows in rooms, tables - in restaurant. Probably, but during braking this window will be closed by rail, and during acceleration it will be closed by radiator. So, it will be opened only in centrifuge mode. I think, this should be configurable.
Your mind is software. Program it. Your body is a shell. Change it. Death is a disease. Cure it.

True tourist spaceships will have artificial gravity slowly changes from gravity on starting planet to gravity on destination, to help passengers adapt to it.

Mostly I just hate 1g

Why? Is what prevents you to take osteoporosis
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

(still don't know why everyone is doing this...)

| Quote Salvo ( ) Why? Is what prevents you to take osteoporosis It also makes a simple 2 meter fall potentially fatal. It's insane that simply falling down from your own height could possibly kill or seriously injure you. You could have all the benefits of 1g without the risks in a much lower gravity environment (0.5g would be fine).

Mh, yeah, you're right...
SHW, in some conditions you get pulled out from the spaceship, falling down from the stairs, astronauts wouldn't like it

I had the same though)) Human body so fragile... And 24-hour day looked too short... Maybe we are really not from this planet?

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) Maybe we are really not from this planet? Make lots of money from SE, find a good planet around another star, build a starship, and we will be interstellar colonists!
