Are there any plans on Improving the generation of Gas Giants? They are very beautiful but It feels like none of them really look like Jupiter, they should be more varied and have more random bands and coloration and such, some should be a solid pure color (like uranus), some should have minor minor bands like saturn, others should be wild like Jupiter and maybe random chance of having dots or little "storms" like the red eye on jupiter.

I'm sure the current Gas Giants are not the final product, but just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Of course current gas giants are not the final product and will be improved.

Will the color and banding be random or will gas composition and temperature determine it? For that matter, do we even know how those variables work in reality?

Coloring was explained in planets classification thread. For gas giants, it was taken from John Whatmough's site (the site seems offline...)

We know what type of chemicals are usually in gas planets, and each of them have varying hue's depending on the concentration and such, there are many theories where other gas giants could be white globes with dark currents and such, like a white jupiter, or vague yellows and reds with different features of storms like the red eye of our jupiter.

I hope SpaceEngineer makes them spectacular and with more wide band features and random storms on them.
