Artificial light and surveyor

1. Artificial Light

It would be helpful if it was possible to enable a kind of flash or searchlight on our camera.
That way it could be easier to explore distant planets, planets around a black hole and thus completely dark and the back sides of tidally locked planets.

2. Surveyor

It would be nice if we could set a point on the surface of body and then measure the distance to another set point on that body without crossing the crust. Like how far would it be for an airplane from this location to another.
It would be helpful to estimate the diameters of craters, lakes, oceans and continents. Or the distance between two of them.

You can do the first already by increasing the Ambient Light with shift+.
