| My biggest wish, and this would be in line with what my previous favorite space sim "Celestia" had, is the ability to have add-on content that includes the asteroid belt, and all known asteroids, all known comets, and of course all artificial satellites, and their orbits. This brings a lot more content and fun to the simulator. Spaceships such as voyager, pioneer etc etc would also be great, even if they just showed a standard 3d model for all.

SpaceEngine already has all this capability, except perhaps fixed orbits for spacecraft. Addons have already been made for some of these things (I myself made an asteroid addon). Adding all known objects would be nearly impossible though since there are hundreds of thousands of them, and SE probably cannot handle that many objects in one system.

| Great news. Do you think space engine will handle the asteroid belt with say 1,000 asteroids? and approx the same amount of artificial earth satellites?

| Does space engine contain all the TNOs yet? i found some but i think theres supposed to be more...

| SE can handle up to 10,000 objects in one system, more objects will reduce performance too much. It is possible to implement orbital calculation on GPU, so the engine will handle up to a million bodies, but it requires a lot of work. Regarding the 10,000-objects catalog, I prefer to spent my time working on the engine, and expect the SE community will take care of things which they want and include it themselves, i.e. catalogs of asteroids and comets, models of galaxies, nebulae and spacecrafts, favourite sci-fi worlds, etc. So you are welcome to help yourself here and all SE users in this regard.
