When flying towards any surface, it becomes obvious that the ship is actually flying at a sideslipping angle, even though all angles are showing 0. I would estimate this to be between 10-20 degrees sideslip angle. Interestingly, this only occurs during real time. Anything above time scale 1 eliminates this problem.
To demonstrate this best, 'free mode' to 10,000 feet above the surface of an asteroid, for example, build a shuttle, take control, and simply alter time scale between 1 and 3. You'll notice that not only will the ship sideslip, but gain altitude or lose altitude, dependant ONLY on the time scale.
This is probably the biggest issue I've found with Space Engine. Everything else is spot on!
