This problem has been mentioned at least three times in the main troubleshooting thread without any response at all. I am in dire need of help.

None of the common issues listed in the main thread apply either.

--------

Space Engine closes itself while starting Planetarium. The log abruptly stops at the same place each time. I have tried to re-install twice to no avail.

--------

My PC Specs:

Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Company
Model: p7-1031
Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
System type: 64-bit

--------

Log:

Attachments: se.log (32.6 Kb)

I have a few suggestions to either fix it or narrow it down,

Try running it in admin, or moving it to a non-restricted folder(I.e documents, desktop ect.).

Try allowing it through or disabling your antivirus, I've had issues with other programs stopping abruptly before where avast had shut them down.

Try downloading from a different computer or internet connection entierly, It may not be downloading some files. if you have not, you could also try the other download method (I.e Torrent or direct download).

Lookign at your chat box post I assume you've been able to use older versions without issue, If you still have it try that on this computer.

- I have tried running on administrator, to no avail.

- It is not my antivirus that is causing the problem.

- I have tried different mirrors, including the torrent, but still, nothing.

- Older versions still work for me.
