Hello! First I just want to express how amazed I am by what you have accomplished with SE - firing it up for the first time and flying around the universe was pretty mind-blowing! Thank you so much for developing this!

Forgive me if there's a simple explanation or command that I've somehow overlooked, but I've searched all over the internet with no luck so far...

Is there any way to set the render / draw distance at which the 3D models are displayed instead of sprites? For instance, observing Saturn from a distance, the moons are all rendered as sprites. Is there a way to have them draw as the 3D models instead? I'd like the scene to look as realistic as possible.

Thanks!

Press F7 and turn the magnitude limit of planets to the lowest possible setting.
