| Outstanding guys! I've never liked the red giant shaders. These looks much improved.

| the_nerervarine, the shaders were meant only for SE 0.974.8. With the new release, there were some changes to the appearance of the suns. But I have a version that I tested with SE 0.974 RC1, which seems to work.

Thank you I'm still using patch 8 over RC 1 but I'm glad you guys are still working on this shader.

| OK. there are seriously too many variations of these mods. What do you guys suggest I should use for realism sake?

| JackDole's minimally altered ones would be the most realistic.

| Quote DoctorOfSpace ( ) JackDole's minimally altered ones would be the most realistic. To use the scripts with SE 0.974 rc1, they need to be new saved because SpaceEngine always used only the most current files. Open the scripts with an editor, make a blank line at the end, and save. Or use the scripts from the attached .zip file.

Im fully aware on how it works. Did the modification and it works. one criticism though is that the supergiant shader doesnt produce a sharp enough texture. If you get close to its surface, its blurry.

| Where i get the 0.974? In the page there is only 0.973
Whatever... there is something for pulsars with ejection disks? The default ones doenst look so realistic, looks as same as White dwarf spinning at high revolutions.

| Is this new shader more scientific than RC1 version?
