| Quote Snowfall ( ) a lot of smaller generated asteroids rotate all lopsided and off center. they spin really strange. Can you give an example? What's strange? Each object in space can rotate around 3 axes simultaneously. I think Spaceengine has only two parameters for this: 'RotationPeriod' and 'Precession'. This may look strange at an irregularly shaped body.

| Quote Elitecomentaris ( ) I've been looking for rocky planets with oxygen levels akin to those here on Earth, up to no avail. I'm wondering if such planets are currently non-existing or just really rare.
rocky planets without O2-producers but rich in free oxygen are chemically impossible cause O2 is to active to fly around just like that.
rocky planets with photosynthetic life and low oxygen levels are far from Earth chemistry and maybe an inaccuracy.

go to: d2 Pup S389 d2 Pup S291 d2 Pup S110 d2 Pup C149 d2 Pup C158 d2 Pup C99
Once side is way off balance. and its not the shape of the rock that is making an illusion. watch them rotate around their center points.
sorry for my dyslexia.

| It is true that the center of mass is not always where it looks like it should be, particularly for irregular, low-mass objects such as asteroids. It may well have large hollow spaces or dense metallic nodules inside that put the center of mass in odd positions.

| Quote Snowfall ( ) a lot of smaller generated asteroids rotate all lopsided and off center You're right. BUt I think that this is a natural limitation of the engine. SpaceEngineer this can probably explain better than I, but I think that SpaceEngine does not calculate the actual center of gravity of such an object. I suspect such a calculation would be very complicated.

| Quote JackDole ( ) The best method is to post the SE.log file. It is located in the folder \(SpaceEngine)\system. This file contains all the necessary information. Here it is.

| SpaceHopper, I see in your log that you used some of my addons. Not all are necessarily compatible with SE 0.974.8 and SE 0.974 RC1.
The files 'JDV-Cluster.sc' and 'NeutronStarsMain_complex.sc' are apparently not properly installed. Probably not in the correct directory.
But this should not be the reason for the problem that you show here.
Quote SpaceHopper ( ) Oh, and I just noticed another problem. This happens to black holes at the center of clusters: I suspect this is due to your Intel graphics card. SpaceEngine is not optimized for it.
However, there seems to be problems with the sound system. Maybe you should music and sound tentatively disable in the settings of SpaceEngine.
Don't forget to look here.

| I have had some crashes with SpaceEngine lately. The log showed something like this:
Code [MT] ERROR: seTexture::GetPixelsFromTexture(): pixels[] array already exists! [MT] ERROR: seTexture::GetPixelsFromTexture(): pixels[] array already exists! [MT] ERROR: seTexture::GetPixelsFromTexture(): pixels[] array already exists! [MT] ERROR: seTexture::GetPixelsFromTexture(): pixels[] array already exists!
I was present at this binary planet.

There I also made this screenshot of this glitch.

I usually keep the sound on my computer turned off. On the few occasions that I've listened to the SE music, I haven't heard anything weird or unusual. The music plays fine for me.

I just thought because of these messages at the end of the log file:
Code [MT] Loading sound "music/Vortex Mechanics - Plutonia (SE Edition).ogg" [MT] ERROR: OpenAL ERROR: Invalid Operation [MT] Loading sound "music/A.e.r.o. - Kepler-186F.ogg" and this apparently was the moment where SE crashed.

| JackDole, might it be the periods in the name "A.e.r.o." confusing the game in some way?
