| Challenge #6 The goal of this challenge is to take the best screenshot to include a nebula in the given galaxy. Any screenshot that includes a nebula in any way is valid.
The galaxy to search in is RG 0-7-711535-824 You must make your submission by 23:59 UTC on Friday 20 September.
Your submission must contain the place code (create in F6 menu) of the exact place and camera angle from which you took your screenshot and the field of view (FOV) you used to take it if that FOV was smaller than 10° or larger than 60°. You may only submit one screenshot. If you would like to change your submission after you have made it, simply edit your original post and replace the old submission with the new one.
The winner of the challenge will be chosen by popular vote. As soon as the submission period ends, the voting period will begin. The voting period will last for exactly 3 days. I will announce the winners after the end of the voting period.
All forum members are encouraged to vote on the submissions made by the participants. To vote, make a post in which you rate each entry on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the best. Challenge participants may not rate their own entry. Challenge participants may abstain from voting if they want to (you don't have to vote).
Before you start the challenge, please verify that your universe is consistent with the one most others are using by visiting the test planet below and making sure it is the same one that is posted here. If it is not, then you might have modified your SpaceEngine galaxy models from their original state. In that case, you might want to install a separate 0.9.7.0 for doing challenges with (you can skip the planet textures and spacecraft models to keep it small).
And as always remember to post about any really extraordinary things you find while doing your challenge in an appropriate thread (such as the image dump) and mention its location and that you found it while hunting for this challenge, as you could win an award for it.

| Disasterpiece, your image isn't showing up properly, you should probably try a different hosting service (I know a lot of people like using imgur).

| I like this challenge. I don't normally go out of my way to find nebulae, so this makes a good excuse to do so.

| Quote (DeathStar) How do I determine Pos, Rot, Vel and Mode? You just use the Places menu (F6). You take the screenshot and then press F6, save that place from that same location without moving, and then copy that entry. All of the data is generated automatically, you don't need to write any of it yourself

| I put in the place in watsisnames post but my nebulae in that region looks nothing like the one in his screenshot. Mine is all default and clumpy. Can anyone tell me where to get the modded one he has there, it looks very pretty?

| Quote (RAF_Blackace) I put in the place in watsisnames post but my nebulae in that region looks nothing like the one in his screenshot. That nebula model is one of the default ones. If you see a different nebula model there then it means that you have nebula model addons that he doesn't have, or vice versa; that would affect what nebula models would be generated in what locations (for example, I have one addon nebula model, so my diffuse nebulae in that galaxy are different models than the default).
If you fly to other places in SE, other galaxies, you should be able to find nebulae with that model.
