spacer, the location you posted is incomplete.

I think I'll jump in myself this time and submit this one:

It's a terra moon of a gas giant in a nebula with modest rings and a lovely view:

RS 0-7-1160921-984-118-5-18465-41 4.1

I might change it before the end of submissions, not sure.

Hm, I think I'll try and look around for one that might be better (and hopefully not a hazy atmosphere).

I had a hard time finding a candidate which could match up against the others. After visiting 3 planets I just couldn't choose. But then... I found this:

Welcome to Somnium, aka RS 0-7-1160921-984-340-7-1573924-15 8. This planet, classified as Titan, has beautifully colored rings and a thick layer of pearl-white clouds. On the surface, it's almost like you're in a strange, hazy dream:

There's tiny islands scattered across strange, orange liquid. Most landscape feartures are found underwater, like a mountain ridge, hundreds of kilometers long.

It's named Somnium because walking (or swimming) on it feels like being in a dream...

I'd better get looking some more for an awesome planet with rings of awesomeness biggrin

Also, one with an atmosphere that isn't hazy would be good as well for me, screenshot quality wise. :P

Edit: On second thought, while I did find an alternate one, I've decided to keep the one I currently have posted.

PlanetExplorer12, we're not voting yet. And even if we were that's not the voting system that we're using this time. Please wait until I announce the end of the submission period and explain the new voting procedure.

Alright, time's up! The submission period has ended and the voting period has begun. Everyone on the forum is encouraged to vote! We're using a new voting system this time, read below:

Everyone has 10 votes, or "points" if you like, that you may cast however you want. You vote for as many or as few people as you like and in any combination that results in you spending your 10 points. Examples of proper votes could be:

A few other important points:

  • Participants may not vote for themselves
  • When voting, simply make a post with the usernames of the persons you're voting for and how many votes you give to each
  • Put your votes inside a spoiler!
  • If you try to change your vote (i.e. edit your voting post) after the end of the voting period, your vote will be discarded
  • Voting ends in exactly three days. Results will be announced as soon as possible after voting is over.

    Happy voting!

circuitsmith, submissions are over now, sorry. This is the voting period. Also, your planet is not even in the correct galaxy.

There are two other similar challenges currently active though if you want to submit something for them: here and here.
