changing LoaderMode to 1

No change. Here's what it says in the "Stopped Responding" window:

The log shows it's still hanging up at "Loading model "cache/models/nebulae/M16.nm"" as well. Not sure if that's significant.

Edit:

I changed the LoaderMode to 0 and it works fine now!

This is mostly a matter of opinion. I would say Nvidia, which has had better driver support in recent years, but AMD has cheaper prices. Anyway, both are good, and in the future both should work equally well with SE.

Personally, I always buy Nvidia hardware.

Yes, however if the LoaderMode is set to either 1 or 2 it will crash during the initial loading screen. If set to 0, it will load successfully, however it will crash whenever I click the Middle Mouse Button or if I travel too quickly through space. I have a feeling this is some sort of memory space issue, however I have 4GB of system RAM and 2GB of VRAM on my Quadro 1000m graphics card.

Yes, however if the LoaderMode is set to either 1 or 2 it will crash during the initial loading screen.

Delete the cache/models folder and then try LoaderMode 1 again.

Hello guys.
It seems that eclipses doesn't work on my SE,every time i go behind a planet, the light of the star disappears completely.
Am i missing something really obvious?

In the following screenshots,i'm moving slight to the right,so you guys have an idea what i am talking about.

My PC specs are :
CPU :Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz
GPU :Nvidia Geforce GTX 660
RAM : 8 Gb

Aside from that particular bug,SE seems to run pretty nice on my machine biggrin

RuusOrdo--I'm having exactly the same problems as you, with exactly the same symptoms. I also have an NVIDIA Quadro 1000M. Did anyone ever find an acceptable solution? Thanks!

I have discovered a terrible bug. It seems like no objects are showing at all, only stars. The only thing that is visible of planets are auroras, nothing else. I have the latest version of the graphics driver. Also this is not the first time happening. Anyone know what i can do about this, or is this a very common error?

Here's my specs:

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.4GHz
12GB DDR5 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 3GB
1TB harddisk.
