My favorite games are:

1. Half-Life
2. Half-Life 2 and episodes (replayed countless times)
3. Portal, and Portal 2
4. Space Engine biggrin

Epic story, epic universe, and for me those are best games ever created.

Btw guys, did you play Black Mesa? (remake of old Half-Life) If not, i strongly recommend that you download it and give it a try. It's free, and quality of this mod is far beyond today's cod-like fps shooters.

You sir have good taste in games.

I haven't played Black Mesa (I don;t have HL1 so I should DL it) but I'll get it soon, preferably when it goes on Steam.

I'm looking forward to playing Black Mesa too, preferably when it gets released on Steam. But as an incomplete game, missing the last 4 chapters, I would really prefer to wait and play the full game instead. I don't quite understand the Dev's reasoning behind this premature release, unless of course they feel it's going to take another 5-years to complete the full game, maybe they think the HL fans can't wait any longer.

There is one video game where I spent a lot of time a few years ago : it is Peter Molyneux's Black & White. It is a god-like game where you have a population to feed, and a creature to teach. You can do miracles, build cities, do quests... For me, this game is just epic.

Voekoevaka, if you like god-like games, "from dust" may interest you (if you don't know it already)

I was so sad when i saw that it was a horrible console port. It was such a good concept.
Guess i'll go back to playing Black and White 1, which still is the only proper god game.

Was just about to post about that. I preordered it because it was fun on Xbox but then I saw the PC version was the same as the Xbox version, if not worse.

Then the uplay thing started messing with plugins I had to improve the game. Haven't played it since then. sad

Also i was really mad, when i discovered that there was no sandbox mode. I just wanted to play freely on a big map and play god. I hate objective based gameplay in a god game.

Funny how I had no idea about that..
I've played it few month, enjoyed it a lot, no bugs.. I guess I'm a easy audience.

Yep, same here, I remember now to have being disappointed by the absence of sandbox mode.

The controls, graphics, UI and the menus are all designed with consoles in mind, when the game could have been so much better if it had been made with modern PC's in mind. When you play it, you can just feel that it was meant to be played at 720p. Also the mouse sensitivity feels weird.

I already know this one, and it sounds great, it is on my list !
But in this B&W, there is a something that is not in From Dust : the possibility to build entire cities !
That's why I like minecraft too...
