Your dose of nostalgia for the "older" ones, can't believe this game has the same age as me

(BTW: Yes, this is The Vechs from the Super Hostile maps on Minecraft smile )

Is it just me, or is No Man's Sky incredibly overhyped? Don't get me wrong, I'd like it to succeed, but so far there is something inside telling me that this will end up being another Spore or Watch_Dogs.

So far we've only seen two trailers, both take place on the completely same two planets, and there was virtually no gameplay besides some dull space combat. The devs are mentioning how there will be resource gathering and such, but so far we have seen no indication of that(apart from the mention of gold as a resource in the first seconds of the E3 trailer).

The devs also seem to overpromise for such a small team. They promised an almost infinite galaxy, real-size planets, infinite diversity in planets, and so on. To me, almost every one of these claims seems hard to believe for such a small team in such a small timeframe.

SpaceEngine exists and is developed by one person

I'm pretty sure No Man's Sky is whole lot more complex

I created a pretty good Steve Rogers in APB Reloaded. Too bad the server I'm in is pretty empty. I might remake him in a more populated server.

I also got Doom to run on my calculator.

It is still in the alpha version but it'll keep getting updated. I thought this would be of interest to you...

Pretty nice they made it public but $25 seems a bit excessive for an early access alpha. I've learned from experience to never buy into early access.

Also we have a thread for the general discussion of video games so I merged your post with it. Unless you have enough content for the game it really isn't worth it's own thread.

I've been playing Max Payne and Max Payne 2 lately. Both are good games. I finished the third one before I played the first two. Probably a bad idea.
