(Looks like it might not pass European emission standards.)

Perhaps, but at least its emissions are non-toxic smile

But when will passengers be allowed on board? It's been "next year" for how many years?

No idea... I think that 2014 is very possible at this point, and I doubt it will be later than 2015. I remember back in 2004 though after SS1 won the X-Prize that passenger service was supposed to start in 2008. Hah.

Also, helloooooo beautiful!

VG released a snazzy version of their video

The new F9 core's engines! biggrin

Also, it looks as if the Falcon 9 v1.1 may have been redesignated as the Falcon 9-R (which makes more sense to me).

I thought that picture was some cheap CGI until I saw the video. The exhaust didn't look real.

Antza said the same thing smile I think I might be the only person who didn't think that (I've spent a lot of time watching rocket launches so maybe that has something to do with it).

Final footage compilation of the first SS2 powered flight (and what great footage it is!)

I remember seeing them when they were released. I can't wait to see them when everything's erected on the pad!

Well the cat's out of the bag: Elon Musk just called the MCT by name, "Mars Colonial Transporter". We all knew it stood for that, but it's still nice to hear it from him smile

Also, for those of you who wanted to buy SpaceX stock, you'll have to wait a couple of decades...
