Yes! I do that all the time. Have you ever begun your sleep with the intention of going into a lucid dream but ended up going into sleep paralysis instead. I hate when that happens, I'm awake, but I can't move and it gets scary when I try to resist.

All that happens is you destroy your dream body and either wake up or continue dreaming, perhaps in a new setting. Or just go into a blank void for a while. Again, I mostly go into sleep paralysis in my dreams when I die. For example, I get shot through the head in my dream, what happens next is that I just appear on the floor into a lucid state in my dream but I'm unable to move. I'm aware of what's going on around me but just can't bloody move and you just get freaked out if you try to resist. I then either wake up or just "pop" into another dream still aware of the last one but convinced the new one is real life, until It happens again or I wake up. I happen to be an expert on remembering my dreams.

That's what I hate about my dreams, I don't wake up, when I provoke the lethal danger first then I can do things (Which is only in lucid dreams and rarely in normal ones) but if someone/something else brings it on I can't fight back it's like I can't attack or defend and If I can manage to they do nothing against the person/people/enemy/thing the force just stops right before the moment of impact. Then they end up subduing me (After catching me from trying to run away lol) then killing me and then I go into sleep paralysis but in my dream as I was explaining before. I tend to get a lot of sleep paralysis in my dreams, especially when I'm trying to walk I can't manage to walk even though I'm stepping, or I just go backwards when I'm in water or trying to go up an incline.

Damn, I hate when that happens. The exact same thing happens to me a lot but not with planets haha. That would have been freakier than mine. Atomic bomb went off in the distance from my house and I quote you again Quote Salvo ( ) "Oh no! I'm not dreaming! We gonna die!"
I also get a lot of damn dreams when I'm right on the edge of something very high like a cliff and I'm trying to reach for something. I never grab on to things because I know they'll just break and I'll fall and die, so I just wait until I go into my next dream, because it's freaky falling and then dying, then being stuck on the floor.
I could go on all year about this stuff in proper detail, but I won't. I'll tell of my dream when I wake up. That's the trick to remembering dreams. You must instantly just keep thinking/dreaming about your dream the second you've waken up, then immediately start writing everything down as you are replaying everything in your head. Try not to think about writing or typing it down just do it. Try to forget about what you've already written down as you are doing this. I have written down details of plane tickets, work pays, ID's, times, dates even whole mobile numbers etc. I might even copy paste one of my old dreams.

| I used to have night terrors when I was 2-9, but in-between them when I had normal nightmares most of them would be the same thing, (I know it sounds weird and maybe funny but it freaked me out for some reason I cannot fathom) There would be a platform that would lift up between 4 tesla coils on each corner, and on that platform would be a Metal cone, resting on it's tip, then the cone would get zapped and my dream would quickly cut to this dark passageway and this sort of slow drumming (Scarily similar to the drumming you get in Slender after you collect the first page) and then a dark sphere would suddenly rush towards me after a random amount of time, and if I didn't wake up at that point then the dream just repeated from the cone zapping.
I have asked 2 of my friends and creepily enough 1 of them had a very similar nightmare pattern, but there were a few details that were different, 3 tesla coils instead of 4, and the object on the platform would vary.
I kinda miss that dream for some weird reason, maybe my scientific mind wants to study it  I suddenly stopped having it 2-3 weeks after the night terrors stopped. I still get fragments on it occasionally, (the metal cone on it's tip finds it's way into a lot of my dreams, good and bad) but never the full dream.
Maybe I'll post about my night terrors on the supernatural thread...
Along with fezes and bowties, brown dwarves are cool.

The strange part of it is that my uncle read the news and said: the date 29 of march is the historical date when humans discovered alien life. I can't remember if this was 29 march but sometime in march. Do you belive dreams can see the future?

| Last night, I dreamt that my mother and I won a competition, and the prize was a flight on a refit NASA Space Shuttle.
It was seemingly now an SSTO HOTOL, and the payload bay had been sealed as a pressurised compartment. This is where we spent most of our time. Upon waking, the alterations immediately put me in mind of a particularly bad (but aesthetically pretty) recent episode of Doctor Who - the offensively stupid "kill the moon ".
We made orbit, and spent some time in zero g. There were a handful of other competition winners with us in the bay. It was delightful, but the dream was reluctant to focus on that.
We commenced reentry, and watched the increasingly bright, salmon-coloured plasma washing over the ship through the monitors on the forward wall of the bay, showing various camera-images mounted around the exterior hull. There was also a feed from the cockpit.
Through the windows near the roof, used in the pre-refit shuttle to observe the bay, we could see the plasma through the ceiling windows inside the cockpit, as well as the occasional lightning flash of some sparking ablation of the heat shield or thermal blanket. The crew and misson control chatter could be heard over the speakers.
Suddenly, the voices became urgent. Time seemed to slow.
Weirdly, I had been out of my seat, standing on the floor of the bay in the gathering g, so when the shuttle jolted under me, and the room yawed about 10 degrees to starboard, I twisted around left to keep my feet, just in time to see a section of the sealed bay doors at the back of the long cavern tear away with an initial crunk of an impact, (possibly a section of wing) and then eat away in fluttering sections, revealing the tailplane through a shower of incandescent sparks, itself aglow with plasma searing its port side.
This image seemed to suspend in time, as the tail shimmered with wandering fronts of combustion in the layers of TPS materials, like a smouldering book.
Then a section broke away, time resumed its flow with a deep roar and a succession of nearly unconnected images of destruction, and I died into the waking world.

| I once had a dream like this:
I was in a floating city, i could levitate so I showed it to some people. We hung out and one of them left. We were walking and suddenly a car tried to ram into us. Soon we walked through two large doors and faced the leader of the city. He was defeated, but before that, I was teleported to some ruins at a beach. There were many animatronics in the ruins, lifeless with glossy eyes around tables and doing work. I walked towards a table and one of the animatronics drank poison and fell out of its seat. I was forced to sit down and take my place. An arbitrary amount of time passed before the ruins were cleaned by the queen (the person who i was with). She threw my lifeless body at the ground and started crying.
I woke up.
This dream happened when i was 8. So pardon the lack of detail.

| Sorry for bumping this but I was above Earth in my dream and there was some Early 2000's Era peace music playing. It slowly appeared infront of my eyes as I drifted back to sleep. I was running down a bushy hill into a lake and then I flew away, I kept flying until I knew I was self aware. I tried to imagine Pluto and then I woke up.
