I wish that telepathy and ESP were real and that said powers would be useful in real life.

Wish granted. Everyone gets telepathy and ESP except for you. You fall into loneliness for the rest of your life.

I wish we had space probes that could speed up and slow down almost instantly and could go up to 300 times the speed of life.

Granted. The probes are massless particles. So they lack cameras. And sensors. And transmitters. And power supply. Turns out they're not very good for gathering data. Or doing much of anything useful. But they can accelerate like nobody's business!

Wish granted, but the Andromeda Galaxy is closer to us by only a centimeter.

I wish we had floating cities on Jupiter and Saturn, and cities on the Moon and Mars.
