| Quote (Spyro) Also, Werdna, your long posts made me realize that my eyes have a seizure when looking at large amounts of condensed white letters. Thanks! Um... I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but it was never my intention to strain anyone's eyes.

| Quote (Salvo) Then the OS (Android) is better if you want to use your smartphone to do something more (like programming or anything else)... Precisely. I don't want the Apple stuff, because if I had it, it would feel like I didn't buy anything, but just rented something or subscribed to some service whose terms could change at any time. I need something that I can use as I like.
I run my own mail server, so in order to access my mail on my phone, I set up a couple of ssh tunnels to my server at home which enables any mail reader to access it through the tunnel. I've set up a bunch of other tunnels as well to things on my home LAN that I'd like to access from my phone but that I don't want to share to the world through NAT in the router. Android lets you do things like that. I'm not sure about iPhone and the like. I wouldn't count on it.
Perhaps things don't slide and move as smoothly on Android phones as on iPhone, but I don't care.

| Hi, HarbingerDawn!
I'm totally confused. I really don't understand how to use the space engine forum correctly. Like I said, I'm very picky about being a bad forum user! Thanks!
Cheers, Vincent

| I wonder if we could mine on Saturn's moon ''Titan''
No need for light speed but would be nice to travel there at 1% the speed of light...
Aww you might say that ain't fast enough man!
Well, it takes roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Saturn at the speed of light. At 1% it will still be very fast considering the 9000 minutes (or 150 hours, approx. 6 days) to get there.
But now to my core question:
Does Titan have any materials that could be of value to us in a pandemic situation like global economic collapse?
I dunno about liquid methane though...
Oh well S.E. 0.9.7 FTW

| Quote (Tim) is it a picture you took yourself? Nope I wish I did though!
n3xt, most of your post is completely irrelevant to the Newspace thread. If you want to have a rambling, random post, post it here.
Quote (n3xt) Does Titan have any materials that could be of value to us in a pandemic situation like global economic collapse? No, unless it has life that we don't know about.
