laiod, 1) 1946 was the first time Earth was photographed from space, not the first spaceflight. As Aerospacefag said, that was in 1944. 2) The internationally accepted boundary of space is 100 km, which equals 62.15 mi, not 62.5. 3) This is not the place to make such a post, as it has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Well where would I post something like this then? All of my sources say that the height is 62.5, and that the first one was in 1946.

Then your sources are incapable of basic math and have bad history books. Would you mind saying just what your sources are?

Oh.

Altitude is 62.5 according to smithsonian:

http://www.airspacemag.com/space....?no-ist

I was wrong about how it was the first in space, but according to this it was in 1942, not 1944, that the A4 later called the V2 was launched into the fringes space:

I saw this on a car in a parking lot (at a Walmart I think) a few months ago. It was the most American thing I had ever seen.

Was this on the side of the car?

The most American thing I've seen is this:

It's the Americas

DoctorOfSpace, whoever made that is a true genius.

I'm starting to make fandubs on YouTube (waiting my computer to get fixed), I find it very funny! Actually dubbing it's like acting, with the difference that you don't have to show yourself...

I'm gonna start a theater course by the way, it should teach me something and make me exercise in diction

Do some of you do theater, dubbing or something like that? happy

Not really; all my light comes from a closed room with blacked out windows, I'm pretty sure none of it made it to the spacecraft tongue Sadly most light comes from parking lots and stuff sad

Has Neil Degrasse-Tyson used SE yet?

Also, the above image is proof of the existence of TRONomers, who are known to ride light cycles.
