Can someone please tell me: Are the stars, planets and moon still there?
I just checked my station data: In the past 30 days the cloud cover has been 97%. The total sunshine time was 2 hours 36 minutes. It has snowed e-v-e-r-y single day. We had one clear day the 12th January. That's the only one so far this year.
If this continues, the universe will eventually become a myth.
I had another unusual experience while skiing a few days ago. Suddenly I heard something sounding exactly like a rifle shot behind me. I turned around wondering why anyone would fire a gun in the middle of the forest. Then I see the upper half of a large pine tree plunge to the ground. The weather has turned mild and foggy lately making the snow very heavy, so many trees snap under the weight. It's not uncommon to find tree tops recently fallen across ski trails, but this is the first time I've seen it happen.
So i found a store that sold asian foodstuffs. I figured it would be mildly entertaining to test some of them.
1.
Grass Jelly Drink This is by far the strangest soft drink i have tasted. It smells like ginger beer, but tastes creamy and extremely sweet. The jelly cubes on the other hand taste and feel disgusting and most of them had melted together, which caused the can hole to get clogged.
2.
Fish Snack These are basically strands of dried fish meat with mildly spicy seasoning. Not bad, but i'm not a huge fan of fish, so i didn't really enjoy them. They also smell horrible.
3.
Prawn Crackers They smell of dog food, taste of nothing and are so hard that it takes serious effort to eat them.
4.
Green Tea Mochi Denser than a neutron star, but at the same time extremely soft and glutenous. The taste is pretty good. Nothing special, but by far the best thing i bought.
What's up with the captcha we have to fill in to post? I know it holds back spambots, but if they managed to create an account at all they're clearly able to solve them anyway, so it seems to me the main effect of this will be to annoy posters.
