| Quote (DoctorOfSpace) The sounds are like listening to someone broadcasting from a microphone. Can you describe the sounds a bit more? Can you make out what they are saying?

Yesterday morning it was some lady talking and some background voices. Then it sounded like when someone sets a microphone down, that click noise, and then it cut out after I ended the process. Today I left the room and when I came back I heard classical music coming out of my speakers and saw WinMonitor was running again, once again sounded like it was coming from a microphone.

Could it be just connecting random computers together and streaming audio from them? It sure looks like it.

This is actually a possibility. Yesterday morning a few people were in the other room with my laptop while it was on and today when the classical music started playing someones cellphone was ringing in the other room with a classical music ringtone.
The only issue is none of those files are on the laptop.

In more ways than one. The main part hats trolling me is even after I delete all the files it somehow comes back a day later. I hope now with 2 antivirus programs running it doesn't come back, but Avast did not detect libs.exe.

Or I was hearing the persons computer who was watching me. If I had to guess I'd say they were on a laptop somewhere.

| If possible, maybe get in touch with the network supervisor? If it happened to you, it could happen to anybody on the network. Although, I don't know what kind of network it is you're talking about, like a dorm network or work network or something.
If you have any savepoints or backups from before the virus happened, try rolling back to one of those, if you haven't done that already.

I am the network supervisor/administrator.

Its a home network shared with a group of people. Only my PC was infected as far as I can tell.

All of those are gone, they were all infected. Whoever made the virus knew what they were doing. I had to erase all my restore points and still I couldn't get rid of the virus.

Oh, okay Wouldn't have known that, heh.
Sounds like something that would have to be dealt with more personally, but ah, I wouldn't know.....
Edit: What about backups stored offline (and off the computer)? Those shouldn't be infected if you have them.

To save storage space and money I do not backup system files. Off drive I backup movies, pictures, music, game saves, projects, and work files.
If I can't get rid of the virus or it comes back again I may format my drive.

| How active is the channel, I might visit sometimes if there's stuff going on. It's just a little inconvenient though, I frequent an irc in Freenode, and I apparently can't be connected to two networks at once in the same client.

| Quote (matty406) How active is the channel It's not very active right now. I think SpaceEngineer needs to embed it to SpaceEngine website, so it would be more accessible.

Same here, which is why I was asking about a way to connect with Chatzilla (which uses freenode apparently).
