| I've already seen these. If you Google the process that is used to film like this you'll notice it's not traditional slow motion, but it's still cool.

| Science has progressed a long way since the first very-short exposure photographs were taken one half-century ago. Now we have engineered a device capable of capturing images with a temporal resolution of 2 picoseconds. In that amount of time, light moves 0.6 millimeters. By recording data with this camera, and correctly processing the data with computer software and appropriate algorithms, we can make videos in such slow motion that we can actually watch packets of photons propagate across the scene. We can record light echoes - something previous photography could record only in space when the light pulse of a nova moves through the dusty interstellar medium and travels through different regions over the course of years. And we can map objects positioned around corners simply by being able to time the reflected light pulses with such high precision in time. The future potential for this technology to public safety and health care could be great, in addition to potential research applications or other uses not thought of yet.
