| FYI as soon as the test version is here, I am going to be including in a video on my channel along the lines of "10 awesome VR experiences", and of course will be encouraging people to donate. So yeah. CANT WAIT

| Starshine will also be important for planemos. Currently I turn up the ambient lighting by a few notches to simulate ambient starshine, otherwise planemos are pretty dull places.

| parameciumkid, It hasn't been announced officially yet. But it is in the plans and it is required to use the new rendering methods for clouds, gas giants, stars, planets. Basically everything

| Are we going to see any additions of things like new stars/planets/galaxies that have been found in real life like the Alpha Centauri system with all it's planets such as Proxima B? Also (if at all possible) can the HD graphics and resolutions be automatically added to the planets instead of having to download them?

| If you check under Mods and Addons > List of mods and addons for SpaceEngine 0.978 , you'll find already some mods regarding Proxima b and catalogs in general. For the HD graphics, if you're referring to something similar to Google Earth, where your computer is receiving only data of the portion of planet you're watching, an external data server should be needed. If I'm not wrong, SpaceEngineer did not exclude one day the possibility to use greater texture resolution maps with similar methods, only locally. So at the end we should download all of it on our PC anyway.

| Mosfet, I know there are mods for new galaxies/planets/etc and also graphics packages that can be downloaded, but I was just wondering if those things would become standard fanfare during the next few updates as we move alone with development. I would like to see some of the mods put into the next installment Just kinda be one of those things that as space is explored in real life, that as new patches come along that the things we discover in our world would be added into the game.

| bigredstar91,
Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) Anyway, I should note: as long as SE is a scientifically accurate Universe simulator, then one day it will implement ALL space objects and phenomenon that are known to modern astronomy (if this would be possible to implement on the personal computers). So you may not bother yourself with questions like "will SE one day have meteor rain implemented". I guarantee that it WILL.

| bigredstar91, exoplanet catalog is always updated in each new version of SE. Regarding stars and galaxies, billions of them has been cataloged by astronomers, and all of them cannot be added to SE.

| Mosfet, Space engineer does indeed have plans to introduce a procedural solar system with higher res textures and bump maps.
