Hey quick question, are 0.9.7.3 mods/addons backwards compatible with this version? I found a old mod...

Depends on the mods. Many are not which is why I archived all of my threads and will be replacing them with a new thread soon.

Absolutely LOVING the update, but would someone mind explaining the immensely bright cluster of blue hypergiants? XD

I don't know the reference but what you are describing sounds like a open cluster.

Depends on the mods.

I don't think custom planetary system would work, would they?

Ostarisk, depends on the systems. Some older ones have outdated layouts and need to be updated.

Well, ok then. I guess I'll just have to try it then...

Ostarisk,
if you would tell which add-on it is, perhaps someone could tell if it works.
Or whether it is difficult to adapt. Maybe even the add-on author.
For example:
Stars that still have 'Radius' and 'Mass' instead of 'RadSol' and 'MassSol' will probably not work properly.

Don't forget to look here.

I created about half a year ago a fan-made trailer for the new SE release. Some parts of the video description are copied from the SE website I'm not sure if this is ok and I don't want to make it public until I have SpaceEngeneers OK. Maybe some you could also have a look at it since I'm not a native English speaker.

I just would like to ask again if it's ok to copy a part of the description of the SE website for my video description of a SpaceEngine trailer? I don't really want to open a new thread for this after all it's a trailer for the new release.

Please report if addons work. Is the download page is good and easy to understand? I trying to reduce amount of mistakes made by new users :)
I'll also look at changing direct links to webtorrent, so download speed will be nearly your connection speed.
