Only $560 left for potential native Mac OS X support. I think SpaceEngineer should a real Mac for testing.

Thanks to user kpardue and pwang99 on Reddit, it should have got a combined $455 push a few hours ago! Even before that, there was some added funding so this goal should now have been reached.

New funding goal reached! $40,000 for Mac OS X support!

Thanks to everyone who have donated!

I start working on Linux and Mac OS support after finishing the first goal (SpaceEngine 1.0).

Okay, so now that the Mac Version is supported, can we get an estamate as to when the next update will come around? Or is that yet to be determined?

It is not supported. It will be supported in future.

Is the engine considered complete when it reaches 1.0?

Don't remind me. I don't want this to be taken as a complaint since I can only imagine how much work it is to make an update but as somebody who loves space engine, the wait is painful.

I will patiently wait as long as he needs to finish, but I am very excited for 1.0. What this guy has done so far is incredible.

Donation coming as soon as I make a bit of extra cash this summer smile

I start working on Linux and Mac OS support after finishing the first goal (SpaceEngine 1.0).

I have a question, will the Linux version be ""identical"" to the Windows version or its developement will be different?

I'll try to explain, I mean if it needs to be done from 0 and start from "0.1.0.0 linux version" or it will go on pair with the current Space Engine (same features in both OS).
