This is my first try of a french translation of SE, in the attachments. Just copy the "locale" files and replace main.cfg.

| Should not "grand axe" instead be "demi-grand axe"? Grand axe is major axis, which is not what is measured there. Instead it is semi-major axis. Also, "Bge" looks like a typo; should be "âge", yes? You should also consider abbreviating any terms that do not fit properly.
Also, this thread should have been posted in Mods and Addons, not Space Journeys.
Good job starting the French translation though.

| "Augmenter la magnitude des galaxies automatiquement" - this may not fit into window width, you should check this in the Magnitude settings dialog (F7).

Being myself French, I give a tour to the file and changed some translations ...This version does not take in account the last Voekoevaka version (and sorry about that) but this is my version.
