Just click "Download Meshes" and then "agree". It's not the only site with free Star Trek models though. I've found others through web searching. They're in multiple formats, but some have obj as well.

| Speaking of Bjorn Jonsson, have you checked out his texture of Neptune? I was thinking of having this texture become Neptune's default texture in future versions of Space Engine.

| Hello, first off these are great sources!
However I notice that Space Engine now provide some very highly detailed images in the form of tiles, does anyone know how to get them stitched or where to find them already stitched?
If I'm in the wrong place please let me know and it would be greatly appreciated if i could be pointed in the right direction!
Help is requested, wisdom is rewarded.

Nope, this is a recent addition (2015/6/5), which may explain why it hasn't been processed by e.g. USGS yet. At this point I don't feel like this can be done by one person, so I'm putting this list out there so others can help distribute the bandwidth more evenly.
What I plan to do is download one region, discard the last 6 bands, and perform an exposure adjustment to brighten up the map. The final region will be reduced to 8 bpp and downsized to 65k×65k, and saved as a 12 GB raw binary image, since I have PS CS2, which cannot handle tiffs or BMPs above 4GB.
In fact, Photoshop is required since the map's center longitude is 180, so regions will assemble "backwards":
I have created a custom action which fixes this issue. Just make sure to set the image DPI (without resampling) to 144 so the document's dimensions are 640×640 inches, since the action uses absolute coordinates.Added (24.02.2016, 23:49) --------------------------------------------- UPDATE:

| Stargate38, isn't that a pirate site? I remember some users got into trouble for repeatedly posting pirated Star Trek models on the old Celestia forums, but I can't remember if it was that site that was causing issues or a different one.
