Download link below!!!

I've been working on the system from Stargate Atlantis, Lantea (the main system of the first part of the show), I'll post here the updates and links when I finish it!.

So far, I got the star, Lantea and its moon, the "Light Bug's Planet" and some other generic planets filling the system according to this page. It's located in the Pegasus DIG galaxy. There's no other moons or asteroids/comets though, doing those will take quite a bit of additional work :)

It's not perfect, but it should be believable enough! Overall, at least it's been a great learning experience!

Some screenshots:

(I'm still trying to figure out how to show them in the text)

I too had started adding systems from Stargate, but I had to put it on hold for a bit. I did the Lantean system as well, in the same galaxy, and I also did a few systems in the Milky Way and the Asgard home world in another galaxy.

Whoa! That's a lot!!

I'm still learning the details of mod creating, but I could give you a hand with finishing them if you'd like!

I also have ship files but they are a bit low resolution from Bridge Commander pack.

Here is a copy paste of 2 posts of mine from my current mod thread. If you would like I can do some last minute adjustments and share the systems with you. Perhaps we can work on this together smile

I did find a bit nicer model in another folder, this one is for doing renders so some things don't work. I think it looks nicer than the Bridge Commander model though, sadly this one I can't share. It took a few hours to get everything working properly in SE.

I am not sure when this will be done or what systems I will eventually do but I have started a basic Stargate system addon.

For the time being there will be no gates, though I may add space gates like in JackDole's addon, although they won't function.

I have already placed Othala in a galaxy 4Mly away and made a basic Lantean system in a galaxy 3Mly.

The only map I was able to find is this which I assume is a fan map as it has many incorrect placements, especially since a few places have given distances and they are obviously too far on this map.

I have overlayed this map roughly on the SE galaxy

What I have so far in Milky Way, I have more in progress but I haven't got them in the galaxy properly yet.

Abydos and Madrona are just about complete and match the visuals from the show/movie for the most part. A lot of information is guess work which makes doing these systems quite a bit easier.

Madrona, white dwarf system with large accretion disk

DoctorOfSpace, this is so awesome! I'd love to work together with you on these!

I found some ship models on 3dwarehouse and blendswap, but didn't really check how good they are yet... This Daedalus/Odyssey/Apollo is unbelievable though, nice work!!!

Those systems are very cool too!

I intend on finishing the Lantean system soon, I'll upload it and post the link here soon, just so this thread can be "completed". biggrin

Thanks simonecinque1992!!

Well, if you like sci-fi (and being here I imagine you do), I really recommend it! In fact, I recommend the whole Stargate series :P

This Daedalus/Odyssey/Apollo

I had one from Bridge Commander but the textures were too low resolution, it had changeable insignia though.

The one in the screenshots I ended up just removing the "Daedalus" name and replaced it with a transparent texture.

I attached what I have so far, including my Lantea system which isn't nearly as well done as yours.

Abydos was a bit too large to be attached so here is a link to it

DoctorOfSpace, I looked at your systems, and found them amazing! Ok, my Lantean have a bit more planets, but the two planets there on yours are really neat!

Madrona and Abydos are superb!!

Seeing your Madrona, I thought it'd be cool to take a shot at P3W-451 (the one with the black hole)... I'll try something on this weekend!

Roswell,
post your log file.

The 'Lantean system' is perfectly fine.

If you have problems is that either because:
You have not installed the system correctly, or:
Something is wrong with another addon.

Maybe it is because of your own attempts to create a system!
