This is a new project I'm starting that will add some of the systems from the Mass Effect series into your SpaceEngine.

This mod is very much a work in progress and if you want, you can contribute systems to this mod.
Updates will be posted when each system is completed.

Download
Will be available once more systems are completed.

I checked the wiki but I do not see distances to a lot of these systems.

http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Systems

Is there a source for distances or does one have to fudge the numbers a bit? I can see some systems in or near stellar landmarks like known real world clusters and nebula so guess those might be a bit easier but I am not sure about the rest.

I just watched the link that has DoctorOfSpace and I see that the number of star is asser impressive in addition there asteroid belts but there is a tool in this thread Tools and Utilities ... . I wish you good luck on your mod. I think it will be the second largest mod on catalogs after Star Wars is not finished yet.

I forgot to post this.

HarbingerDawn sent me this a little while back, it could be useful in getting rough locations for systems

I have used this idea in an addon I am currently working on and it is quite useful
