Earth-like atmospheres on procedural planets

| Is there a way to have thin, earth-like atmosphere models for procedural planets? I've seen a few planets like Pandora and one other Terra in a nearby star have them. I just think they're more realistic and would like to see them on generated Terras if possible.

| They are already on generated Terra's. Not all of them, though.

| Procedurals terra with thin / earth-like atmosphere are my favs (original huh?..  ), I haven't found very much of them ( that made them even more beautifull in a way) but they indeed already exist:

If you compare the Earth's atmosphere and one of a procedural planet, you can see the difference. The procedural planets have 'fatter' atmospheres, while the Earth has a thin and dense one. (Though color variety sounds good too!  )

I did see these in the game, but they don't seem to be thinner, only have less density. If you look at the Earth atmosphere you can see it is very thin & dense compared to the one you posted in the screenshot.

| Well, what I mean is thin but dense on the surface. Go to planet "bloop" and see what I mean. The procedural planets seem to have very wide atmospheres.
From 400km off a temperate terra with life and a ATM pressure of 2.3, it looks like i'm only 70km high above earth if you know what I mean.

| Clarification: In Kviki's post, "thinner" means "smaller height", and "fatter" means "larger height", not "less dense/more dense".
I just wanted to clear it up for everyone since there seems to be two different definitions of "thin" being used in this thread

I guess that's the right term, Shorten the height to look more like catalog terras. Is it possible?

It's an oceania, but it shows it's possible.
In the same system there's a terra with a blue atmosphere to compare with.

Now i see your point, they all seem to have the same atmosphere "size". And about the realistic , i agree.. It should be good to have differents atmosphere size, but I guess there is rules about atmosphere size related to several planet specification, I don't know if SE include them.
