Finding black hole accretion disks?

I've been looking for these in some active galaxies like m 87 but they don't appear to have any accretion disks yet. Are there any generated in the SE universe or do you to edit them to have them? If they are, any suggestions on how to find them?

Pretty sure if you're only looking in catalog galaxies maybe you should look in procedural ones too, I'm not sure if they're "generated" in catalog galaxies due to the fact that each black hole disk of every galaxy would either had to be hand crafted (most accurate) or generated procedurally (easier to do and less time-consuming)

Yes, look in procedural galaxies. It seems that all supermassive black holes in catalog galaxies don't have accretion disks. Also, not all procedural black holes have disks, but many do.

You can also find intermediate mass black holes in the centers of globular clusters, and stellar mass black holes by using the search (shift+F3, recommend increasing search distance to something like 50-100ly and use search settings > main star > black hole). They're marked with an X. You an also see if they have an accretion disk in the system preview (F2).

Thanks! Finding them now.

I also found that using the filter returns more black holes than sorting the full search. I've only used the filter for planets which returns everything and only provides a filter score to sort by, apparently when you filter for stars, it actually filters out all the noise and leaves only the star types you filtered for.
